Overton Engineering and Consulting is a licensed engineering firm operating as a trade name (DBA) of Overton Construction and Consulting LLC. We provide professional engineering and technical consulting services throughout Florida, specializing in complex building investigations, construction defect evaluations, and regulatory compliance for condominium associations, homeowner associations, commercial properties, and legal professionals.
Our work is often centered around high-stakes construction defect and insurance-related matters, including Chapter 558 investigations, water intrusion failures, structural distress, concrete deterioration, and exterior building envelope deficiencies. Overton Engineering and Consulting is frequently retained by legal counsel, boards, and property owners to deliver comprehensive forensic evaluations supported by detailed documentation, testing coordination, and expert reporting.
Engineering services are performed under the responsible charge of a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) and include forensic analysis, photo documentation, building condition assessments, repair recommendations, expert testimony, and deposition support. On large-scale restoration and repair projects, the firm may also serve as Engineer of Record, providing repair design services, technical drawings, specifications, bid support, and permitting documentation.
